Grant Van Nostrand is a financial advisor with Van Nostrand Wealth Management and leads the firm’s presence in Boise, Idaho.
Grant entered Oregon State University intending to study marketing, but an early finance course quickly changed his direction. He became fascinated by investing, financial markets, and the way financial decisions can shape people's lives.
That interest led him to join his mother and brother in the family business. Today, Grant works alongside Mary and Garrett in serving clients and supporting the firm’s financial planning and investment work. He values building relationships and becoming someone that clients feel comfortable turning to as questions and decisions arise throughout their lives.
Grant has continued developing his investment knowledge through the Chartered Financial Analyst program. He has passed the Level I exam and is currently studying for the Level II exam.
Outside of work, Grant enjoys running, hiking, golfing, and traveling. He especially enjoys visiting National Parks and Major League Baseball stadiums with his fiancée, Averi. He has made it to 7 MLB ballparks and strives to visit all 30 one day.
